No, nothing funny at all here. They fulfilled their obligation to you and protected you and themselves from fraud by REQUIRING YOU to sign for the package. If you cannot take a minute to call and have the package left OFF the truck for pickup or if you cannot be home to accept the order, then you really should not be ordering.
What is funny (well, not really) is that you are trying to make NewEgg look like the bad guy here. You are trying to make them out to be a poor retailer or even a scammer, however, they have done nothing at all to deserve that. In fact, they should be applauded for their willingness to combat fraud. Not made out to be a bad retailer by someone who is too lazy to call UPS or to make good consumer decisions. You are trying to blame NewEgg for everything but they have done NOTHING wrong. You are the one who went about everything wrong, not them. Own up to it and get a clue, Stephen.
