Steve Irwin was an anthropocentric piece of human excrement with no respect for animal rights!

In Response To: NonBusiness... The "Crocodile Hunter" is dead... (MaaMaw)

Steve Irwin was truly a great person and it really showed that the man just LOVED what he did, whether you agree with it or not.

V-ery few of us actually EVER hold a job or a career that we love and have passion for. We just do it for the money because we lack something, whatever it is, that makes us pursue and be successful at what we love to do.

I don't care that he let his young baby "too close" to an alligator. It's none of my business anyway. But the man knows alligators (or crocodiles or whatever the he|| they are). It just is not the same as you or I placing my child too close to alligators. Not the same at all. He knew what he was doing. He's a croc hunter. A real one, not just some pretty hollywood actor that needs an employee to pick is nose for him.

But more so, I really couldn't care less that he "invaded the space" of an animal. What's more aggravating to me is that someone thinks that they actually know what animals (non-human) are thinking or that they consciously think at all. Fact is, animals are not anything like humans because they lack a conscious mind. They only have a subconscious mind that directs them through their whole life. It's actually absurd to attribute human thoughts to non-human animals. It's actually borderline psychotic, actually. You can say that domesticated animals seem to have a conscious mind more so than wild animals. OK. I'll give you that. Sometimes cats and dogs do seem to have human attributes more than any wild animal could ever have. But you can't equate wild animals to domesticated pets. They are almost completely different seeing how wild animals must and do feed themselves where domestic animals, especially dogs, would die if no humans were around to feed them and take care of them. When it comes to brass tacks, a stray cat will live much longer and better than a stray dog.

Well, anyway, I watch very little TV. Maybe 1 hour a month. It all depends on whether or not I am visiting someone who is watching TV. I have only seen Croc Hunter about a total of 6 times since it's debut on the tube. But all I have to say is that it surely was quality TV. Not only was it educational but it was also entertaining, even in Steve Irwin's sometimes cheesy way. And it was wholesome. None of these things can be attributed to any of today's harlots and pinnps most of today's youth idolize. Not a god damned one of 'em.

So here's my salute to Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. He truly was a great man/entertainer/educator in so many ways and most of us human schmucks fail to see that. Instead we point fingers at him for this and hate him for that and try to impose our boring lives and principles on him and his family - all the while paying $10+ a ticket (plus another $20 for a small popcorn with butter) to see a coupla pansy-ass, fudge-packin' cowgirl boys on the big silver screen. How pathetic. So pathetic!

No real offense to anyone. But I have had my fill today of hearing people say all this bad stuff about a man that was more of a human being and a man than most of us could ever dream of being. EVER.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
