Nope. Not my site. As stated in another thread (not sure if you saw it), I found it in the archives here on FIB so I decided to put it in my link. Thought it was a good, useful site since it's free. I'm sure there are things on the site that some people won't like, but really, what can I do? Do you have a solution?

OK. I agree with knowing who you are doing business with. But I just got done looking at the site again and I do not see anything being sold. So tell me, how did you plan on "doing business" with the site??? There is nothing to buy as far as I can tell. Looks to me that it's just a content site. Can you explain what you meant by "doing business"? Did you think about buying the site, perhaps?

Adsense ads cannot be controlled by the webmaster. Not sure if you know that. SO basically, when you decide to display contextually targeted ads you have to assume That not all of the links will jive with your site or your "morals". Not sure if that means you are "selling your soul" but not sure that I care. People have to make money. the person who put that site up was, I am assuming, attempting to let people learn about IM for free. He has to get paid somehow. Hosting a site costs money, in case you didn;t know. But really, I have no clue about the motives of the site owner. I just think that tall in all, from what I have seen, it looks like a helpful site so I put it in my link. I thought it was better than just the same old affiliate link. How can you trust and affiliate link, for the most part, I'm just trying to help spread good, useful info. Sue me. LOL.

Naw. I hate gardening. I just mow the weds over with my mower. No need to be rude and throw them in the neighbor's yard. That ain't my style.
But I would like to thank you for chastising me for linking to a free content site that I don't own. Do you always like to waste your time like this, Steve. Don't care if you do, really. But just wondering.

Sigh, Steve. Sigh, sigh, sigh.
It is obvious that you were offended by my post about Canadian and Australian marketers. Sorry, man. I told everyone 2 or 3 times in that post that I meant no offense to citizens of either of those countries as it was not about the citizens in general but rather the internet marketers. Sorry you still took offense. But I can't help ya, man. That's something that only you can help yourself with. I never said that Canadians are bad people. You said that, Steve.

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. We are not responsible or liable for any claim arising from the content of any such discussions or postings or for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information contained within such locations on the Site. You are likewise prohibited from posting any false claims against any company or individual. We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
