don't shop at mom & pops. Shop at the Big Box store instead.
What's the problem? Maybe I misunderstod the reason for your post? No?
I could give you a long answer to why so many mom and pops cannot give as good CS as the big box stores AND provide the same low prices, but I have a feeling you don't really care to hear the plain truth because ultimately your preference is with the lowest priceand not at all with CS.
If I am wrong, then please politely tell me so and I will gladly post the response here. If not, off ot the big box you go.
