I watched the video on their site (which looks like placing a Google AdWords ad). I noticed the mysterious PPC acronym, never explained on their site, which standards for "Pay Per Click [advertising]"
Here's what I believe that are teaching:
1. You place adverts (which requires that you pay money) at Google, and other Pay Per Click sites
2. The things that you place adverts for are affiliate products. You don't have to pay to sell these. You actually earn commissions for what you sell. (Although the commissions may be paid some weeks later).
Now, this activity is a legitimate business activity. And it **can be** a successful business (some people making lots of money at these kinds of business, although others lose their shirts)= but it requires:
- Money [Capital] (to pay for ads, until your commissions arrive, including enough capital to cover the losses you may incur from unsuccessful ads, especially near the beginning)
- Skill at writing ads that pull in paying customers
- Skill at choosing which keywords to advertise under
- Skill at tracking which ads produce results, refining them, etc., and skill at recognizing dud ads and dumping them
- Lack of risk aversion [it is quite possible to lose money in this venture, if you spend more on ads than you earn]
In short, it is
not (a) Job
nor (b) An activity that primarily is about typing... [would anybody say that Dan Brown's main activity in preparing the Da Vinci Code book was "home typing"?]
