.. are there any hotels in your area which have exhibition space available. It might be possible to rent a cabinet in a hotel lobby and sell pieces from there for a much more reasonable commission.
.. have you tried working out a wholesale price for your pieces and approaching craft shops to purchase them outright. You probably won't make so much money on each piece, but you will have the satisfaction of knowing that the goods are sold.
.. have you tried contacting architects/interior designers about your work? It might be that they would have an opportunity to use your skills.
.. did you make any useful contacts at the filming event with the Props Department? Is there any scope for your work in this or future productions?
.. is there a local tourist association where you live? Do they sell locally-produced arts and crafts and could you sell to them?
