You are entitled to your opinion. Period.
But this is Friends in Business. And friends don't insult one another.
As for people here citing John Reed "pretty often", I couldn't say. I've only been participating here for 6+ years. Can't recall Reed's name coming up all that often. I don't pretend to read every post, although I do check in almost every day.
If you search "John Reed" in the archives, I doubt you will find it coming up very often. I realize his name may not be in the title half the time he is cited, but it would give some idea. Since the archives got gummed up, you can't search as far back as we once could.
As MaaMaw would say, stick around, make nice, and become a part of the community. Offer friendly, helpful advice and she might bake you a batch of virtual brownies. Insult and demean the community, and you may find one of those brownies being hurled at your head.
I'm one who tends to see far more scams and worthless opportunities being foisted upon the naive and unsuspecting hopefuls, among all the various bizopps and income opportunities promoted online.
Home assembly, home typing, Turn $6 into $1000s, Lazy man's way to wealth, Get-Rich-Quick scams and schemes including Retire Quickly, endless ground-floor and pre-launch opportunities, guaranteed, can't-miss money makers, illegal Gifting Circles and other ponzi scams, yadda, yadda, yadda, ad nauseum.
I remember people investing in the Laundry Ball and then pitching it to others, only to find out putting a whiffle ball in your washing machine won't allow you to cut your laundry detergent usage in half.
I've seen the magic sea calcium supplement and it's promoter rise to heights, only to be taken down by the FTC for illegal health claims.
I fell for the Borges-Lamont liquidated merchandise super slick sales pitch at one of the bizopp expos (coming soon to your market), and actually lost my money on that one. (I wasn't alone.) But, at least I didn't fall for the other dozen products and bizopps they pushed quite successfully that day. And, I was spared the expense of a 48-month lease on a credit card processing contract by cancelling out my contract before the day was over.
FIB stands as a beacon or warning, hoping to help others who follow after us from making some of the costly mistakes that we have made. Fortunately, we don't have to join every one of the "GRQ" and dressed-up ponzi schemes and scams to recognize them.
Adjust your posts to the spirit and tone of FIB, and I'm sure you will be welcome to stay.
My home-based bizopp alternative to getting a job.

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
