The fact that I personally couldn't stand him doesn't mean he isn't the most wonderful thing since Milk Duds, but I resented the &$^@@!! out of having to listen to him for an entire day of that horribly expensive seminar.
Funny, he was the opening speaker -- the opening DAY -- of a biz op seminar that ripped people off to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars over the long haul.
One of the speakers recently went to the slammer.
Two of the companies (actually one, but it was presented as two) was raided by the FBI and shut down.
One of the companies mysteriously disappeared after (14?) years in business.
We got to meet the founder of one of those magnificent companies, only he wasn't... he was a peon like the rest of us.
I think one of the main speakers was legitimate, and to this day I don't understand why he allowed himself to be associated with such scum, although I appreciated the two days he talked because he had some really good things to say about marketing.
Which brings me back to Denis. Again, I don't understand why such a good guy would knowingly associate himself with scum.
After I found out the truth about the company I sunk my money into (the one that was closed by the FBI), I wrote to good old Denis, told him what I had uncovered, and told him where he could verify the facts and get further information. I had done my homework, and I thought Denis himself was "a good guy," so I assumed he didn't realize how he had helped to rip so many people off by getting us all warmed up that first day. As I recall, I received a totally unsatisfactory reply (wish I'd saved it)... but in any case, I will never understand why such a "great guy" would appear at such a sleezeball affair.
