Web Generation Software - Dynamic Content Router - DCR

Here is my upsetting review of Dynamic Content Router - DCR

I paid $185 for the DCR software after reading on the warriors forum that this "Website Creator / Content Creator" software was guaranteed by none other than owner of the software himself

Here is the quote from the Dynamic Content Router thread:
Yes, we stand behind our product. We've got quite a few happy clients that love our product as you can see from what other warriors are saying about it. Of course there will be some people that are not happy, it happens with every product. If someone isn't happy, we would refund them and disable their license.
After installing the "Dynamic Content Router" software, I was involved in daily posts for support on some of the things which wern't working.
This software is mean to be able to create articles and feeds for you on your website which is really the core of the software but it did nothing of the sort. It simply didn't work.

After scores of posts, they finally told me that it wasn't working and that it would be fixed soon!

Can you imagine that? A software which doesn't do what it was built to do!

After slaving over the software and the non-resolving support, I decided to ask for my money back as promised by their statement above - on the warrior forum".

As soon as I did that, would you believe that they started looking for all sorts of excuses to NOT REFUND MY PAYMENT of $185.

The buck was being passed around initially and I was told to contact the main person which I did.
To cut a long story and many emails short, I was finally sent this message:
"and also to be honest we used stormpay account to accept payments from clients how do want this product but mainly we use paypal , and now when you just paid to stormpay you were the only one how paid us ! so we realy do not have sufficient funds to refund you if it is ever applicable"
Wow, what an excuse! Not having enough money in their Stormpay account to refund my purchase.

So to get the DCR folks out of this predicament, I offered to let them refund me by paying me from thier Paypal account to my Paypal account.

As you can imagine, If somebody was intending to refund you, this would be a resonable alternative.
But no! Since they saw that I was offering to help them out, they wrote back and said:
the deal in the warriors forum was over with when he bought, the refund policy in the warriors forum was only for that sale, not for purchases made after that are under the refund policy in TOS.
http://www.webspace1.com/tos.html
and we are sure too that stormpay or paypal will never accept a refund to a downloadable script
Just so you can read the full offer he made, here is the original "Warrior Offer" thead:
http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=52971

The special offer was closed but the guarantee was not. You clearly stated on a public forum that the guarantee would be effective for anybody who was not happy with the product.
Not only was I unhappy but the product didn't do its job for me either.

Furthermore, when I signed up for the product, I did read the Terms of Service and the part about the refund was not there at that time. I suspect it was added after I asked for a refund and created a problem for them.
Here is the line in their TOS:
To protect our assets we do not offer a refund since its a downloadable script
Yet, on that very forum, he stated:
Yes, we stand behind our product. We've got quite a few happy clients that love our product as you can see from what other warriors are saying about it. Of course there will be some people that are not happy, it happens with every product. If someone isn't happy, we would refund them and disable their license.
Here are some more quotes from that thread:
You can build sites as slow, or as fast as you like
I wasn't even able to get of the ground with a single site.
Speaking of competitive markets, wait until you see my next WSO, I'll bet it will sell out in 48 hours or less. So anyone looking for ______ will be all over this, it will be very limited
Who here reckons I'm going to be queing up to buy his next WSO product?
This was posted by another guy:
Like schhim, I have also requested a refund, (I sent 4 separate and courteous emails over a 3 week period) as I found the script impossible to work with.
Not so much as a response, never mind a refund.
The forum support is lacking as my problem was noted but never solved.

Now, if Joshua has a serious illness, I can understand his not responding but according to the forum he has a partner, who I assume is healthy and capable of taking care of business until Joshua is well.

Anyway, I just wanted to alert my fellow Warriors of my experience. Regards,
Another one:
I have sent several messages to Joshua requesting a refund but never received a response. This doesn't say much for his integrity much less his software.
Another one:
I would like to echo what John Walsh said. I too have found the scripts impossible to use as there is a severe lack of training materials and the forum is almost dead and of not much help.
I wrote many emails periodically, politely explaining my sitution and requested for a refund. But so far have not gotten a single reply.
Another one:
Same experience here...
I've emailed him twice for refund more than a month ago but got no reply. Finally I got a reply after pmed him in the forum. He said he will get back to me soon. But that was 2 weeks ago...
There were so many posts regarding refunds, that one guy had to ask:
I am not a customer of yours, so I have no axe to grind.
There have been a number of refund requests which you have not commented on. Your comments have gone to the question of whether or not people used your support forum.
I would appreciate it if you gave a definate, straight answer to the refund requests.
Will you honor the requests or not?
Even then, he eluded these posts. He may have been sick at the time, but what about after he got better? But he did write:
A couple of the people posting here about refunds, I don't know what user name you have on our forums, so please PM me there so I don't miss anyone
So I did Pm and email him but didn't receive a reply from him at all. His partner replied to me stating the lack of funds in Stormpay to refund my purchase!

Here is a quote from the owner of Dynamic Content Router:
As you can tell I am very protective of our good reputation
Is this guy joking or what? Is he serious?

Yesterday, I sent him a message offering him a final chance to reimburse my payment or I would have to tell people the truth about his Dynamic Content Router software and his service.

Guess what he did after I sent that message to him?

He has now disabled my access to the support forum even though the software states:
If that doesn't answer your questions, please feel free to log into the forums and ask any questions you may have there.
This now means that, not only have I not got my money back and lost $185 but I can't use the Dynamic Content Router Software support forum either.
If my experience and honest review stops at least 2 people from buying the software, DCR will have lost more money than it would have cost them to refund me. How about if my experience stops 50 people from buying the software?

What do the non-customers on this forum think about how this so called "human" conducts business?
I for one, will not be buying anything else from this guy or any other Dynamic Content Router related software.

JH

PS: When I sell my own products, I honour the guarantee immediately - as soon as the request comes in. I just got an email saying:
Thank you very much for the refund which I received today.
I am very grateful for your help and understanding.
I just wonder how many con-men internet sales people pose as genuine entreprenaurs

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so.  We are not responsible or liable for any claim arising from the content of any such discussions or postings or for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information contained within such locations on the Site.
You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane materials or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.  You are likewise prohibited from posting any false claims against any company or individual.  We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.
By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example. You grant Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications complete, perpetual, but non-exclusive rights to use, archive, reproduce, adapt, modify, distribute, sub-license, repurpose, rework, compile, or offer for sale or resale the messages, postings or content appearing on this site in whole or in part, throughout the world and universe, on a royalty-free basis without remuneration.  If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board.
In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
