You have to do a 'file save as first'

You can't see it until you sae it. Save it first.

Please don't right-click on Notepad! That will rename Notepad... it won't rename your file. You have to type the stuff in Notepad and then do a 'file' 'save as' and save it as 'index.htm' (no quotes on any of that) and then you can load the index.htm into your browser and see that.

No, it's just Confusing Instructions. It appears that things are working as they should, but you were given some poorly worded instructions.
