I am not saving anything. This happening whenever I click on anything that is linked to notepad. Instead of seeing the designed layout all I see is the coded page information.

I right clicked on notepad but there was no where to change file extention.
It stated that Target type: Application Target location: System 32
Target %SystemRoot%\system32\notepad.exe

I am using WindowsXP and I feel the problem must be in my computer and not XsitePro since it has occurred before using XsitePro.

I understand what you are saying about saving the file and then trying to use it as a web page. I previously used Frontpage but got tried of all the extra codes it would place in my work and then I could not figure out what I put in and what
Frontpage put in. But at least I could Preview my work.

So far I prefer XsitePro to Frontpage for beginners which I am.
