I just read about it on an MLM forum last night.
How do you feel it will impact you, in your market, and with the established customers you presently have? Will many of your customers pay the higher price to get your personalized service, and specific items not carried in the big-box stores?
Do you think every WM store will carry the Watkins line?
I would think it would become very difficult to sponsor any new Watkins dealers, in markets served by WM. But, there are still customers who will be willing to pay for the home delivery, full service they can only get from an individual dealer like you.
I don't think sponsoring others was a big part (if any), but for those who promoted the opportunity over selling, this move could be the beginning of the end for them.
Having built your Watkins business, focused on selling the product to individuals, you may find yourself gaining customers from those who quit from the changes.
