Jimbo -

Thanks for the input, Jimbo. Susan, too.

> It's still in the glowing "we have to get 100,000

As far as I can tell, 100,000 is simply a "goal" of YMMSS, not a "need"...

>So they're getting suckers to buy into a program

That's pretty loaded language, Jimbo. The advertising business advertises whatever its clients pay for, right? TVs, shoes, ISPs, books, travel, autos, tampax, whatever... Hey - What does Ebay advertise?

>and guarantees a $100,000/year from the program.

I can't find a guarantee of $100,000/yr. Where did you find that?

"The primary mission of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is to protect investors ..." - http://www.sec.gov/about/whatwedo.shtml

What I'm seeking is solid evidence of wrongdoing, fraud or criminality, not just opinion and speculation.

I just see folks slamming YMMSS without consideration of it's long-term vision. Personally, I'm inclined to cut 'em some slack and give 'em time in order to develop their retail advertising business. That takes time. Real businesses take time. It's just that simple.

What do sucessful investors do in all markets? Put up money BEFORE the success, not afterwards... based on calculated risk.

Thst's a different model - I watched that one come and go, too...

At least this guy is tracking ongoing developments, but as he says "time will tell" and
"We shall see".

I've launched several businesses in my time and currently own three, one of which currently nets near $100k/ yr. online. So I've learned to handle business hiccups and bumps in the road by taking them in stride, as I suppose the YMMSS folks are doing right now...

Phooey!

Nothing of substance in that tired, old thread, IMHO. Just a decidedly negative bias and passive-aggressive pot shots.

An advertising business takes TIME to set up and develop. Let's wait and see how it flies. Geez, didn't Edison spend years on the electric light, trying over 10,000 combinstions before tungston?

The posters on thst board would have torn Edison to shreds - and Galileo, Columbus, Tesla and Bell, too.

"Suspicion is the easiest weapon to wield and is the chosen tool of the lazy."

I'm looking not for speculative "opinions", "suspicions" and "beliefs" about YMMSS, but for documented EVIDENCE of wrongdoing, fraud or so-called "scam".

The cycle time fluctuations are a current concern, for sure, but even if they hit 180 days, where else can we get this kind of business performance twice a year?

If I can join YMMSS for under $25, then why not do it, then wait and see... ? What's the big deal?

It's just a matter of time, eh? And the risk/return ration seems too good to ignore, as I see it.

> But... I'm sure you've seen it. In fact, I'm pretty sure you've already
> joined and are cruising around for members.

Nope, not yet.

And that kinda talk doesn't feel so good to a newbie like me, Jimbo. No need for harshness and suspicion. I just want to dig up hard facts, if they exist. So far, the cycle times are the major concerns, but those are understandable in a developing model. They do not necessarily indicate, IMO, that "the end is near", but that growth has spawned a problem which needs attention.

> Oh, heck. Go spend your money. We won't stop you. But we will tell you
> that the 100,000 people won't materialize and that the ciriticisms voiced

Again, speculation - But if you can guarantee your bold projections, then let's go into business day trading, OK?

As I see it, we are not psychics. We have no crystals balls. As in all business, "Ya buys, your tick, and ya takes your chance.

I've day traded derivatives and commodities futures options. I understand "risk", but thanks for your words, anyway.

> But it's not OUR money. It's YOUR money. If you want to stand out in the
> middle of the field and set $20 bills on fire, heck, we're not going to
> stop you.

Again, not a kind attitude, IMO. Ennuendo and speculation do not impress me.

The ONLY way to profit in business is thru calculated risk. Period. I proved this to myself in my years as a stockbroker.

If y'all can't help me find solid EVIDENCE against YMMSS, then all I can say is "Thanks for your time and attention, and I wish you success in your ventures".

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
