YMMSS.ORG

Cheers!

I'm interested in YMMSS.ORG, and I've been investigating for nearly 6 weeks now. Please 'google'"YMMSS", and see if you can find ANY formal complaints, ANY disgruntled YMMSS members, ANY YMMSS SEC filings or open investigations - or ANY criticism from a person who grasps the YMMSS business model with clarity.

It's all negative speculation - no substance. All I can find is name calling and mud slinging from outsiders who say they "don't believe" it can work, yet they do NOT seem to grasp the business model and are unwilling to test it out for themselves to get some observable results and familiarity with the company's vision.

"I know that most men, including those at ease with problems of the greatest complexity, can seldom accept even he simplest and most obvious truth if it be such as would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions which they have delighted in explaining to colleagues, which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabric of their lives." - Leo Tolstoy

Ain't it the truth... ?

As I see it, the aim of the company is to build a highly interactive 'safegroup', one in which corporate, retail advertisers can find a desirable, focused buying community - and members earn great money in return for their participation. There is a pretty clear explanation in an ebook from http://www.claycotton.com/00-basics/Amazing-Internet-Income.exe

As of 2/13/2005 apparently, 20,000 members have been paid over $70 million since 1/1/2004. That's not insignificant.

Posts in the YMMSS user forums at http://ymforums.com refer to a Retail Ad site launch before April 2005 and an upcoming connection to Wells Fargo bank.

YMMSS seems to be building a database of stable, eager members who get paid to read ads. The members login to do this at least 30 minutes/week each, so it is clear that the ads actually get read and the commercials viewed.

The long-term revenue model seems simple enough: Global, corporate, retail companies are invited to advertise to the membership, and the resulting fees are paid back to the members via the Commissions Payable fund. Seems solid to me. Could it be that this one will actually WORK? It's worth considering, IMHO...

Any solid evidence against YMMSS would be helpful. In any case, I'm getting kinda antsy to try it out...

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
