I was Hosed

Yeah so I go interested in making extra money, because being college student sometimes leaves me broke and all, so anyway I invested in 3 different work at home opportunities and boy was I duped. I feel like an complete idiot. First I invested into HerbalLife. First off they didnt tell me what I'd actually be doing, they just had me fill out a form, then some lady called me and told me that she would send me a video and all I had to pay for was shipping. So I did and I watched the video, and it all sounded to good to be true. It was I found out that I would have to invest tons more money to actually get started. RIP OFF! Second, I fell for what is called a "classic scam", ENVELOPE STUFFING. I first visted www.marrkettrends.com. They had a program called 2,000 Weekly and more. They tell you to pay a registration fee of 34.95, and they will send your there system on how to make 2,000 Weekly and more by mailing their brochures from home. What they don't tell is once you get it, you have to buy the mailing list and catalogs then mail them out to potential customers, then you will be paid if someone actually buys something. But if no one buys anything your in the doodyhole. Congradulations you have just wasted almost 300 dollars on home business "phoney baloney". Next I invested 24.00 into Freedom Marketing. I saw an ad in a Home business magazine and visited there website, www.mailingprogram.com. They say you will earn 7.00 per envelope stuffed whether or not the potential customer buys anything and they will supply you with the materials. BULL DOODY! I never recieved a darn thing. Not a e-mail stating my money was recieved, not a confirmation letter, nothing. I checked Freedom Marketing out with the Better Business Bereau and the are no longer in business, even though they still falsely advertise on their website. I even called a number and asked to speak to someone who worked for the company, but the person must have been suspicious and hung up in my face. Next I invested in a company called Moneyflies (they have 2 websites, www.moneyflies.com and www.stuffenvelopeslegally.com). They claim to advertise for small companies, and the companies pay them a commission, so they "supposedly" pay people like me to stuff there advertisements for the companys they are affiliated with in envelopes and and mail them out. They claim to pay 10.00 dollars per secured envelope. Bull Crap. I investigated this company through the better business bereau and they turned out to have numerous complaints from customers who never recieved materials to get started. Lastly I invested in Independent Mailing Services. This based solely on commissions. It seems Legitimate so far, only because they actually responded to me unlike these other companies. What should do to handle these matters? Any Suggestions? Are ALLLL envelope stuffing jobs fake? I need to earn extra money in my spare time without investing more money than I can afford. Please Help Me.

Companies that have sucked me dry:

www.marrkettrends.com
www.mailingprogram.com
www.stuffenvelopeslegally.com
www.moneyflies.com

I advise People to check out:

www.envelopeconsultants.com

They give good tips on scams. But I wouldn't buy into there so called opportunity because I checked out there business with the BBB and they proved to not be legit.

Also visit:

http://www.continentalpublishing.com (affiliate link deleted by MaaMaw

This provides a book with legitimate home based businesses. Look up companies and call to ask questions, and make sure these people are really going to provide you with opportunity they say they will.

Other than that all home businesses are scams because they never really say up front what EXACTLY you will be doing with your home business. You never really find out until you come out of you pocket and you end up being sucked dry by this bloodsucking "so-called" home business employers.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
