But I won't be posting as much as before because I am VERY much into writing a book about my WW2 experiences and Mel.White is my "main person" helping me with the book...Our "falling out" at election time was all about politics and you should NEVER discuss politics OR religion with your friends and we all knoe that...So lets just consider that "water-under-the-bridge and go on from here...O.K.?...
I have still been lurking here and so know at least in a general way what has been going on...If, for instance I had still been moderating, I would have deleted Kimberly's first post as a "drive-by" and would have kept deleting her subsequent posts until she got tired and quit!...I have done just this many many times in the past...With all my years of experience I immediately recognized her post as a recruiting thing for MLN...
What really caught my eye here was the following direct quote from Mr. Randy...

What this person doesn't know is that "I" DID fight for my country and I feel very strongly about people like him who play the "freedom of speech card" as nothing more than an 'excuse' to rip people off!...Yeah pal,I DID make it in the military and I flew as a fighter pilot in Europe for the USA in 1944-45... (Don't even bother thinking about suing me Randy as I am still flat broke and am still living on Social Security only...
Lesley, I am VERY glad to see you "taking charge" again here (like the old days) and if you need any kind of help just holler!...I will be using the hotmail address above exclusivly on all my posts as this is a very easy way to cut down on spam....(I had just 10 this morning instead of the usual 200 plus!)...
For those of you that already know me...My health right now is better than it's been for the last 3 years....Although I still have 4 serious things wrong with me, they are are all well under control...I recently moved (just about 1/2 mile and I am still in the same zip code)...I am now officially "trailer trash" again as Ellen and I have moved into a 14x80 mobile home in a nice trailer park here in Alpine...(My old house, although it was brand new and we were the very first tenants had simply become too small for our needs)...Our present place was advertised in the local paper and we got it for $100 less per month rent than we were paying!...We also just changed from the Direcway satellite system we had been using to SBC Yahoo DSL and we absolutely LOVE it!...Cost us just $37 to have the second line installed and we will be paying $29.95 per month instead of $59.99!...Can't hardly beat that!!...
So I will be working hard on my book and while I am thinking about it...A guy out in California named Bob Schifflet has in his possession one of only 540 copies printed of my unit's official history...Just yesterday, he VERY generously sent me a copy of this tome (It has 800 pages) and it was copied in it's entirety with plastic sleevees over each page, in a nice ring binder that makes it very easy to remove a page and copy a picture for instance, plus he sent an autographed copy of another book that one of the pilot's in my group had written (and which I have never read)...It came by UPS overnite air and it must have cost him over $200 at the very least!...He stated this was his contribution to "the cause" for the book and he was glad to bear all the cost!...This guy is on e-bay under bobp-47 and he was one of my first customers for my audio CD's...
I have consolidated our 2 e-bay accounts and 2 Pay Pal accounts into one e-bay account (windsong2544) and am just getting my Pay Pal account (that I screwed up) straightened out (all they need do is send those 2 small amounts and it will be done very soon)...I have my CD ad ready to go again for the CD's and I will put it up when the Pay Pal thing is done...
Just one more thing while I am wound up...In this very thread the issue of this is NOT a 'democracy' here has come up 'yet again'...All those who complain should be constantly reminded of this (as they have been in the past) and we should just go on from here...
End of rant and away we go!
