Here's one where I have to say something, I suppose. Is there anything under the sun that prevents a person from manufacturing their own little crosses at home, then selling them on E-Bay themselves? I can't think of a reason why these knick-knack craft type projects can't be done that way without having to feed uplines, or being beholden to a "home business assemble-at-home" supplier that promises to buy what you produce (but all too often rejects everything you make as unmarketable).
Maybe it's just me, but-- a few miles from my house there's a hobby shop where I could buy all of the wood and glue and finishing materials for pennies per cross produced. A few tools, some practice making a suitable joint where the cross-pieces match, and you're ready to go. Just sell the crosses for slightly more than it cost you to make them (don't forget your time, it has a cost too). If you're going to do an assemble-at-home job, this would be the way to go. A halfway decent photo of your finished product on E-Bay would help too.
There's only one thing you would lack, but past experience shows this might be a good thing to lack-- namely a blessing from a TV preacher with every cross, promising healings if you send a generous donation. Your home-made crosses can, instead, simply be a piece of "jewelry" fit to wear to church on Sunday with a bit of chain strung through the head of the cross.
