Thanks for the message. In response to this message and the other one with the "are you in there?" quote:
I refrained from posting everything I've learned about the program thus far b/c I was more just wondering if anyone's tried it. But basically, there are five levels of coaching, which include showing you how to free up about 300-500 a month in cash flow, paying down debt with a concept they call the accelerator margin, learning how to reduce your taxes, learning how to start a home-based business (optional, don't want to do it), and learning some basic investment principles. The accelerator margin I mentioned above is basically allotting a certain percentage of your monthly income (usually 10%) to paying off the highest credit card debt, while continuing to pay minimum payments on the rest. When your first credit card gets paid off (which can be pretty fast if you're making payments equivalent to 10% of your income), you take the minimum payment you used to be required to pay on that card, and add it to your 10% margin. This margin gets bigger as you pay off cards and has kind of a snowball effect on how quickly your cards get paid off. I have tried this for 2 months and am on my way to paying off cards much sooner, NOT because the money was not there before, but because I'd never heard of that concept and would not have made myself free up 10% for just one payment. I always tried the classic 'pay 10/20/30 bucks extra on your highest card' but it didn't work fast enough.
All this to say that I don't think the program is ground-breaking, it's just an effective tool for learning how to manage and eliminate debt. This is the logical part I was referring to. Basic principle, works if applied.
So, I was just wondering if anyone knew about the program, since they claim so many people use this program or ones like this and actually succeed. I want to know if you're out there. Or, if you're someone who has been in huge debt but learned how to get out of it through more cost-effective resrouces (i.e. Barnes & Noble), I'd like to know that, too. Thanks again.

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
