In need of prayers

Whew, this one is so long that I'm getting a headache just trying to think of where to start...

OK, second week of July my oldest daughter got put on an insulin pump (that's good, better control of her diabetes and she has a more flexible diet). The only downside to that is a few weeks of checking on her EVERY TWO HOURS (meaning no reasonable amount of sleep, obviously I had to take time off from work).

About ten days into getting her settled into her new pump my wife got put on very strict bed rest with over a month left in her pregnancy (meaning I was now responsible for 100% of keeping up with house and 3 kids 100% of the time on no sleep). After five or so days of her bed rest we finally got my daughter's pump settings finalized and I "thought" I was going to get some sleep. My choice was to sleep in my comfy bed with a chronically stressed pregnant woman or a lumpy couch. Either way I barely got any rest before school started. I had to march into the school to put the fear of disability lawyers into the school in order to get them to provide appropriate accomodations for my daughter.

Once that got settled Lori went into labor at 35 weeks and 4 days (nearly 5 weeks early for those not in the know) and because of her blood pressure problems they let her go. On August 13th she had an 8 pound 1 ounce boy. The doctor said that he could have gotten to 12 pounds if he had gone 40 weeks. So I had to get the older two off to school and the younger one to a babysitter for a couple of days while Mom and Baby were in the hospital.

Then, 48 hours after her release she had to go to the ER for her blood pressure again (her highest reading was 182 over 124). We originally thought that her blood pressure problem was caused by the pregnancy when it was actually not. There was a few days after that point that were just a blur so I'm not to sure what happened during that time. I do know that this past Friday our van broke down. At first it seemed like a dead battery but even jump starting it didn't work as it wouldn't stay running. We used the insurance roadside assistance to have it towed to the dealer thinking it may be covered under warrentee... HA! They called back Monday and said it wasn't warrentee covered and would cost around $600 to fix. I decided to get a second opinion from a certified mechanic friend and I got a worse diagnosis that would end up costing $1500+ (more if it were delayed) because the dealer mechanic relied soley on the computer. At least I still have my motorcycle to get back and forth but it won't do much good come grocery time.

And this past Monday I returned to work to find that I was critically behind on work and facing reprimand (not to mention that my boss is by leaps and bounds the worst commander I've worked for and I've been under a dozen or so). One of the things that I was behind on was a security patch for the server. I installed it first thing and set the reboot timer for Midnight so it wouldn't affect anyone working. I came in Tuesday morning and the server was DOA. After researching the problem, the patch that I was told to run perma-broke the server (I'm still rebuilding since it can't be fixed). To add further insult to the onslaught of injury, I received orders to go to South Korea (I haven't told my wife yet because it "would" cause her to have a stroke or heart attack).

And there is my expansion upon the definition of stressed out. I've already had a few break-downs. I'm trying to make the best of this. My $ situation has drastically improved since I got that van a year ago so if I can get out from under it I can get into a new one with bumper to bumper coverage. If I play my cards right I can even have it paid off in roughly a year (yes, my $ situation is that drastically different -

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
