Shortly after IMC (the Internet Marketing Center founded by the late, great Corey Rudl) launched its totally *MAGNIFICENT* eBay Course, Brandon Dupsky -- the Self-Made eBay Millionaire Genius who worked hand-in-hand with IMC to create the course -- filed bankruptcy.
I nearly dropped my drawers.
But I kept promoting the course because it is, in my opinion, the most *COMPREHENSIVE* eBay Money-Making Course ever written. It includes all the basics, and then it goes far, *FAR* beyond the basics so you come away knowing exactly how to take your eBay business to the next level.
And I wrote to my contact at IMC and asked what the hell happened.
This is what he told me. (Keep in mind, this was an informal email, and I'm not editing it at all, so please excuse any boo-boos.)
"One does not need to make money on the front end of a business if
they have a solid backend selling system (autoresponders, email promotions,
etc...). These are a portion of the IMC marketing elements we brought
to the table for the eBay Course.
"There are a few traps one can get into with eBay but Brandon's 'mistake'
was paying out of his own pocket to develop a multi million dollar software
management system that never materialized. This is the main cause for his
bankruptcy.
"He also shut down one of his major product lines because someone in China undercut him massively in one market, this is why we preach diversification whenever possible.
"The bottom line is one will make mistakes but it is how one comes out of
the situation that best indicates the business. It is a hard lesson but one
we can help illustrate to others to help them from falling into an eBay
trap. Brandon will continue on with eBay and will be a massive seller again
soon. Right now it is a waiting game. Some of our greatest lessons come
from failing at something over and over again in order to find the best
approach..."
I continue to believe this is the best course ever written and a must for anyone who is serious about taking their eBay business to the next level -- whether you're brand new or a Power Seller who's working too much and earning too little.
