Greetings, This is my first post, and since this is such a welcoming and informational place, I was hoping I could get some advice in regards to my little at home business. I am a sahm, and awhile back came up with a really cute idea for baby blankets. Everyone who I have sold them to loves them, and I'm really trying to get started. Biggest mistake I made was trying to sell them to an popular baby boutique in my area, who has now, (long story short), copied my blankets to the t, and are selling them as theirs. I have no legal recourse, as I have no copyright, and am just one gal trying to make some extra money for her family. Now everyone where I live will have these, and think they are the originals. So I'm now thinking I will have to branch out and sell them maybe on the internet. I tried to build a website of my own, and there is just no way I can do it. I am looking for some advice on having a small site built, and marketing it, on a very tight budget! I also would like to know if maybe a website isn't the way to go, I know that like 90% of them don't even make it. So any thoughts are appreciated. I'm pretty discouraged, and never post online, but thought I'd give it a try. Thank you very much!
