My dad used to be a mechanic so I was raised around engines and such. The fact is immediate damage is rare. It is the long term damage that does not rear its ugly head until later that would concern me.
For example..
Suppose we could shoot into the future with your 2005 Ford. It has 150,000 fairly carefree miles on it. You took care of it and didn't try anything unproven.
-or-
We shoot forward to the same time period and your 2005 Ford is no longer a part of your life. It had some serious engine problems that your mechanic could not seem to get a handle on. There was always something going on that cost you repair money.
Now...
Even though this is somewhat conjecture, is it really? We all know that internal combustion engines don't always show problems until they are big ones.
Given the small savings, the huge cost, and the enormous risk of an unproven pill, "No Sale" is all I can say.
It's another typical MLM. It doesn't matter that the product is virtually unproven/untested for any real length of time that would truly indicate long-term damages. It doesn't matter that there doesn't seem to be any control over how many distributors there are; the more the better. All that matters is to get that army of salespeople out there not actually pushing the product as much as they are pushing the ability to market it.
It is incredible what some people will do to make a buck...
