What I think about google.... It's the most overated useless search engine currently out there.....
At one time, they used to produce relevent results, not any more. However, Joe Public has a hard time accepting that fact. You can get much better results with Yahoo or gasp..... MSN
Google's primary purpose now is to create revenue for it's shareholders. They don't maximize revenues creating great search engine results, they create revenues by forcing frustrated business owners to purchase targeted click thru advertising.
It's amazing that I can buy blue bananna peels or fuzzy cottage cheese on ebay or amazon and half.com. It's even more amazing that these companies pay for these click thru's.
As soon as you find the magic forumula to move you site up in the listings, you can count on the fact the algorithm is going to change soon, just to leave you site worse off than before.
My advice is make the pages, structure, text have value and be organized. The better search engines will take notice. One day the masses may wake up to the google hype and make them play by reasonable rules or the search engines that do will win out in the long run.
