Not at all. That is one problem we have here in the USA. We have been told in past years that it is OK to pass the blame because it is "only human" to do so.
No offense to you or your post, but that's a bunch of hogwash. It is NOT human nature. It IS, however, the way many people have been raised in recent years, but that doesn't mean that it is human nature and it certainly does not make it right.
Example: I have a relative who was a psychologist that worked for a state-funded organization. He left because he was tired of constantly having to coddle folks who came in for psychological help when what they really needed was a set of parents that kicked him in the arse when he misbehaved.
The straw that broke the camel's back is when he was assigned (yet again) to a "patient" that was looking for "help" because he was unable to appreciate what others did for him. Everything he did that ended up ruining his life he would blame on others and refused to accept responsibility for himself.
Now my relative knew what the guy needed - a good dose of reality. He knew that the guy himself was the one to blame yet he came looking for help on how to cope with the world that was constantly telling him to "get a job" and to "respect others". This guy and others like him were not sick in the head but rather just loafers just looking for a free ride and a self-serving coddling. They wanted to be labeled as "victims of a cruel society" by a state funded psychological organization so that they could have a better excuse to continue on the road they WANTED to travel.
The problem is that my relative knew that he would be fired if he did what needed to be done. He was not allowed to do what needed to be done. All he was allowed to do was coddle these people, tell them that they were NOT to blame and prescribe psycho meds - none of which actually helped these "victims". All it did was hide the real problem and convey the message to them that they were sick as a result of society's inability to accommodate them properly and accept the fact that they were just a bunch of sorry excuses for respectable, responsible, personally accountable human beings.
As a result of this forced flawed therapy, after 12 years of having to put up with this crap, my relative decided that the Psychology field was no longer there to help people and society but merely existed to coddle and drug those that decided that they were just going to give up on life and blame everyone else for their inability to function as a responsible member of society simply because they decided that it was not their duty to do so.
He is now a B2B salesman. Not only does he make more money but he also feels like he is doing far more good as a salesman than he was ever allowed to do as a imbecile-coddling, mind control drug-prescribing psychologist.
