I, too, have called Don Alm on his bluff 2 times before. You know you hit a nerve with him when he deletes your post.
It is quite possible that Don Alm decided not to go through with the toilet paper idea (which was mostly really dumb anyway for various reasons), but seeing how he decided to delete your thread about it rather than just saying "I gave up on it" and knowing Don Alm from personal experience, I will venture to guess that Don Alm has something to hide, which is the reason he deleted the thread you posted.
What I am about to say will not sit well with some of you because you refuse to believe the truth, but it needs to be said. Please understand that it does not apply to 100% of every website out there, but 90% is a good bet.
If you make money or you claim to be making a GOOD BIT of money, if you are selling on the net (especially business info and biz opportunities) then you know damn well that you need to have a professionally designed site as it will increase credibility and therefore conversions.
However, when you visit Don Alm's site the last thing you see is a professional site. In fact, it is so rough and so much juvenile looking that one has to laugh. I would never buy anything from a site like that and you can bet your life that many people think the same thing. When you are as successful as Don Alm claims he is, you would know better and have someone design an appealing site for you. It does not have to be all flashy or anything . in fact, flashy is not always a good thing. But professionalism is a must if you are to be taken seriously.
Remember folks, one of the keys to becoming successful in an area on the internet is to be or pretend to be an expert. Don Alm does not have it down pat, but he is good at converting those who just don't want to believe the truth and how to spot red flags.
I have so many more stories and tidbits I can tell you about Don Alm and how he is not who he says he is and how unethical he is, but I will spare MaaMaw the embarrassment. Last I checked, MaaMaw welcomes Don Alm on this forum with open arms. However, the last time he came here he was not very well received and MaaMaw did not agree with his posts.

PS. How can you take a person seriously who cannot type normally. Did you ever see Don Alm type. He types like a 4th grader on sugar pills...
He TYPES like THIS..................it IS RealLY annoying AND I personally could never..............EVER take anyone SERIOUSLY who types LIKE that and also CLAIMS TO BE SUCCESSFUL!!!!!

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
