Below is an Email being sent out to victims of the Better Universe Fraud. There has been a lot of people affected by the false information from the company. Good News! Call your credit card companies and dispute the charges. There is no way the Better Universe can dispute the claims based on exaggeration and deception that are STILL posted all over the internet. I agree that someone should go to jail over this. The governments needs to find some ways to regulate MLMs.
The is a very important message to anyone effected by the deception and manipulation used by Better Universe/Movie Club Plus and it's high level representatives, which resulted in any monetary loss. Former reps who were lured into the Better Universe MLM by the company's hype, lies, and deception over the past 6 months can get a reversal of any and all charges through their Credit Card Companies (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, etc.). Simply call the credit card company, which your monthly membership was charged to, and tell them that you would like to dispute the charges from Better Universe and/or Movie Club Plus. Most former representatives have been able to get a refund on the charges direct through thier credit card companies being that Better Universe and Movie Club Plus did not fulfill promises and/or deliver products or services as described by representatives and management through conference calls or Emails. Representatives have been able to receive full reimbursement on all charges from Better Universe from up until 180 days from the time the charge was made. This also depends on your credit card company as well as to time of charges. Most refund automatically up to 90 days, but you can dispute any charges no matter how long ago if you feel a product or service was not delivered. I filled a dispute that is being processed back 4 months to receive a refund on charges for my monthly fee to Better Universe. Thousands of former representatives found out the company made promises using hype, lies and deception to keep representatives within Better Universe and also to lure new representatives into the MLM. With that in mind Better Universe has no way to dispute the charges based on the hype and deception surrounding Beryl Wolk and also events that were supposed to happen by specific dates... All now known to be acknowledged lies, exaggeration, deception and manipulation. Also be sure to file a dispute on all charges through your credit card companies for any orders not received from Movie Club Plus. The company charged magazines, dvds, cds and games to members that were also not received after months.
