#1 warning - don't even think of buying or harvesting email addresses and sending them unsolicited email. You'll be shut down for spamming so fast it would make your head spin.
That said, I wish you all the luck in the world, but I think your business plan may have a fatal flaw. The best ideas in the world can fail for lack of seed capital, and very few plans are funded by begging.
Your site says:
"We are a group of young entrepreneurs that are striving towards the revolution of the internet experience. This group is working hard to generate capital to take on a site, that will completely change how people use the internet. But, we can not generate the capital fast enough to support us during the research and development of this site. We are in a unique situation, we can not afford to quit our customer web projects nor can we take out large loans. This is why we are asking for your help."
If you can't write a business plan and get venture capital in this relatively good environment, or get free advice from local small business groups (or SCORE - the retired executive volunteer corps), the business plan may be doomed. Many venture capital groups aren't going to invest their money into a project if they don't see that the founders are also vitally motivated to succeed, such as already using their own homes as collateral for large loans. If all you're bringing to the table is an idea and enthusiasm, you're in a crowded market.
Also, I'd be very interested in hearing from one of the site owners what they really mean by this phrase on their marketing advice page:
"Use the single opt-in method to capture qualified targeted leads."
Does this mean they're harvesting addresses from places they believe targeted leads to be? This is potentially a very disturbing thing that they do. My email address is posted here - please have them get back to me, would you? Thanks!

Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.
