Hi Everyone. I love this site but haven't posted (or been online much)since
then end of last year. I'm sure you don't remember, but I am a crafter who
sells at craft shows, a line of cloth angels with attached poetry that I
write. I have over 500 poems and have made a great income doing this!
Last time I posted, I wondered how I could take my craft to the next level
and make money online, as I was afraid of plagerism of my poetry.
I received many nice responses but wasn't ready to act on anything as I
could barely keep up with the orders coming in and the craft shows....
but I kept it in the back of my mind.

Unfortunately, I have been very very sick the last 6 months and can
no longer drive or get around without the aid of, at the very least, a cane.
I have now been diagnosed with M.S. I have a loving daughter and wonderful
boyfriend that have given up their weekends to do the shows with me, and
I have went into wholesaling to one large retailer. But I can no longer
even do this anymore. I am sucking the life out of my loved ones...and
the MS is slowly getting worse. Making the angels is pure torture for me
anymore.

Now I am forced to rethink my livelihood. Last time I asked for advice
it was for the purpose of expanding my business. This time, I come to you
because it is a matter of my independance.

I have come up with a plan to publish a series of books, beginning with
a model of HOW I sold these angels, and subsequent books of the poems
themselves. I plan on marketing to *Crafters who do shows and *Crafters
who just make things for family and friends. The poetry is the main thing
as the poetry is what is really popular.

I have under a grand in start up money, and can't afford to waste a
plug nickel. I am going to need a website (have no experience with one)
and a printer for my book.
After weeks of research, I am thinking of going with LULU.com to print
the book as it is a Print on Demand publisher, so I can get all
4 books into print without much outlay. For a website I would like your
input on a place called SiteBuildIt. SBI. It appears they have much that
I can use without a huge learning curve.

For those unfamiliar with the effects of MS, I have many bad days, and
I fear putting a lot of trust in MYSELF to accomplish much on those
days I can't really think straight. Do you think these are good alternatives
for me?

I am sorry this post is so long, and I didn't really know where else
to turn for good advice and any word of warning on the companies listed.
