Hi, Terry - well, that was interesting - I'm now going to go through my drawers (GRIN) and look for any old bank notes.

.... But then, it's not a field of collecting that I'd ever considered; and there isn't a category for coins/bank notes, etc. in the UK eBay, although I do know that there is a collectors market here for such things. .... I'm betting there are several folks who will be taking a peek at their wallets, handbags lost at the back of wardrobes round about now!

Analysing your auction a little;

This would appear to be a "Hot Category" on eBay.
You wrote a good description - and probably piqued folks' interest by detailing the FIB link
It didn't appear to matter over much that you were using an eBay id with no feedback to speak of.
Your image was clear - and the auction details looked professional.

.... now off to rip the house apart for all those bank notes left by the visitors LOL
