In Response To: DXGOLD AND ECURRENCY = BIG PRRENCY = BIG PONZI SCHEME??? (phillyflash)

> Precious little info on this scheme is availabe on the net, this thread
> from Quatloos! forum may be informative

Here is an interesting response I got from one of the original dxgold traders. I sent him the link to the thread at Quatloos, and here is what he had to say:

==========================
Several things about that; it's not a new idea or approach. It's the same
'growing pains' had by new folks for the past 4 years. DXGold has been
investigated before; they aren't being investigated anymore because they're
cleared of past investigations.

Also, it turns out that the 3 main folks in that thread are actually the
same person... pretending to have a back&forth dialogue. They might also be
the same as the person on the Mazu site who started in.

DXGold is not:

1. Operational yet. They will be when the DXSystem is finished. Right now,
we are in their test-system.

2. Since not operational yet, they don't have business info published (CEO,
phone number, etc) because they are not 'operating anything' yet openly.
They have some business clients, some LDX's, etc. But they are mainly closed
until the DXSystem is done, after which they will release their info.

3. A banking system... they hold none of your funds. They only secure
exchanges for others, etc. That's it.

4. Why is DXGold 'earned' ? To 'release' it to the general public. Remember,
DXGold has to be released for new Members to use it... if we only had 10
Merchants with $1000 each in DXGold... but 10,000 Members flocked in
tomorrow, with $2000 each in demands, there would be no possibility for them
to get DXGold, because there isn't enough money. We earn DXGold TO resell,
because we are in the business of expanding DXGold use on the internet.
However, you only earn a little bit of money to exchange yourself, for each
action you perform... if you want to earn more, you have to work more. It's
the same as if you were in the Coca-Cola franchising business: you are paid
bonuses there by being given discounts on (or even free) crates of Coca-Cola
to resell. Why are you paid in Coca-Cola and not just some other form of
cash?

Because there is no cash without sales of product. By being given Coca-Cola,
you have every incentive to keep doing your job.

5. All e-currencies are commodities (like Coca-Cola) and not cash. For them
to be valuable, there has to simply be a market.

6. The ultimate problem with the analysis on that page you show me is this:

For DXGold to be a scam, they would have to give you bonuses... TO TAKE YOUR
E-CURRENCY IN EXCHANGE THEMSELVES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF VANISHING LATER.

Since that is not at all what is happening, they are not a scam. DXGold
charges us fees: THAT they get to convert as they go along. Some Claims are
sent to LDX's in the system, for example, so that those LDX's can eventually
service more business clients and also so that DXGold can recover costs.
But, your gains are just that... more Coca-Cola to resell. You get it for
each and every single action you perform in the system, and have the right
to convert it out... by finding the business (not alone, but in a group).

We make DXGold work by doing our jobs: expanding the market as a DXGroup.

Of course, all of this is incredibly summarized, and will be explained
better in the launch of the new DXPT information that is to be released in
about a week.

Finally: the DXSystem is ALL ABOUT PROVIDING USEFUL SERVICES. The GPC will
be re-attached. DXConcierge is coming out, as is DXTraveller, etc. These are
REAL services.

Before DXGold could POSSIBLY get THOSE to operate, it needed a batch of
core-Merchants and funders (us) for there to be enough DXGold (and
knowledgeable exchangers) to handle the influx of the new market when they
release the DXSystem.

Really... do you think we are ready even now? Is there enough DXGold in
circulation to handle the masses that pour into DXGold when they launch and
their die-hard services are available?

Frankly, even DXGold is afraid of not being ready even by then. Even with
all the DXGold in circulation at present across us MM-interns who have money
and knowledge enough to handle the incoming market.

Hope this helps! Again, more training will be available as the new DXPT is
unleashed here in about a week.

Does YOUR Money Matter?

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so.  We are not responsible or liable for any claim arising from the content of any such discussions or postings or for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information contained within such locations on the Site.
You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane materials or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.  You are likewise prohibited from posting any false claims against any company or individual.  We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.
By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example. You grant Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications complete, perpetual, but non-exclusive rights to use, archive, reproduce, adapt, modify, distribute, sub-license, repurpose, rework, compile, or offer for sale or resale the messages, postings or content appearing on this site in whole or in part, throughout the world and universe, on a royalty-free basis without remuneration.  If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board.
In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
