Jim, my post was about the Rudl Report. I'm flattered by your attention but I have no idea why my sig file has become the topic of conversation. Perhaps we should start another thread? :)
> Rule #1
> Never sign up for something if they don't tell you what you're signing up

> "is")
Really? I think I did. It's a non-MLM business opportunity where the profit potential is upwards of $250,000 for the first year. I did $5,000 in my first week. You do the math.
> Rule #2
> Be wary of those who report unusaully high incomes in a short amount of
> time. > (first year potential is $250,000+ with an immediate 90-day potential > income of as much as $40,000 or more)
And that warning is based on what? The opinion of someone who is less ambitious than me? What income level would've made you more comfortable, Jim: $100 a month? $500 a month? $1,000 a month?
Should all business opportunities be whittled down so we can make the masses feel more comfortable about wanting small incomes?
> Yet he claims that this isn't a
> "get-rich-quick" deal. $250K/year isn't rich... it's just a
> comfortable living, right?
REPLY: Depends. It's like houses. If you live in Chipley, Florida, you'll be the richest man in town at $250k. If you live in Phoenix, the valet will probably park your Mercedes SL-55 in the back so you won't be embarassed by your little $135,000 car.
But, you're right. I should edit that part of the site. The idea that someone can't "get rich quick" is nothing but a false superstition that's repeated by broke people. There are people getting rich right now while you're reading this. It happens every day.
And by the way, when the average American works for 40 years and still retires broke.....heck, you're "getting rich quick" if you manage to create an extra income of even $5,000 a month. Truth be told, ANYONE in network marketing or any other leveraged business has an opportunity to "get rich quickER" than most people.
It's all perception, Jim.
Tony Rush

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
