In Response To: Re: Emerald Passport Help (The Roadie)

Hello to all in here.

Well here we go again, Emerald Passport bashing. I guess I am one of the EPI fleas too. I am an Emerald Passport representative and I can take it because the bashing does not apply to me or my team. We do not spam, e-mail blast or anything illegal. Anyone who knows anything about the internet already knows that the only thing that gets you business online is to target your customer. That's it. This is no secret but unfortunately the "newbies" like to think thee is a secret or a magic bullet and as a result they get shorn like sheep by the Guru's just waiting to take their money. Even Corey Rudl grew up. I bought his course in 1998. It was just a spam course then. I guess its different now. I hope so. Haven't had the need to look at the latest version.

The advantage Corey has is his super list of people who what to do something on line like, make money. And Corey's list is a "warm" list to boot. A newbie doesn't have this and will not get it overnight. A warm list cannot be bought. It takes time to do this and it takes smarts. Blast an email to 1 million is not smart. Get maybe one answer, not a sale, just an answer and hundreds of spam complaints. Doesn't make much sense does it. Why some people do this is beyond me. Read the definition of insanity.

EPI has a variety of people from all over the world and with this variety we, unfortunately, are going to get a few bad apples. Now why the rest of us get painted as spammers and e-mail blasters by so-called intelligent people, I don't know. Not really to fair to make a sweeping generalization that may apply only to a few people. But life isn't fair either. So bash away. Meanwhile, we have other fish to fry and money to make.

Certainly the advice to find out how recruiting is done as well as any thing else about a company before you join is not only a good idea. It is just plain stupid to NOT do your due diligence before you decide to join Emerald Passport or anything else. I want every member of my team to know just what they will be getting into and what they will need to do to be successful. Taking in a newbie without the resources and tools to have them become successful is a very fast self-destruct button.

People think that all they need to do is to contact an internet opportunity seeker and bam, there's a sale or a good possibility. Well let me tell you, internet opportunity seekers are probably the worst prospect you want for Emerald Passport. This kind of person is looking for a hobby or the illusion of being in business. We don't want people that are looking for a hobby in Emerald Passport. These people should stay with the $25 program that pays them a $10 commission and work it until they have 1000 people in their downline. Ha, ha. It ain't gonna happen. These are the spammers and blasters. But people keep trying.

We are real business people and we are looking for other real business people. We can teach someone how to locate and contact other business people. Emerald Passport is a real business with a unique compensation plan that most people do not take the time to understand. It is not for the internet hobby-ist mentality. Has a one time cost of $1430 to get in and then there are the promotional costs on top of that. We try to keep the promotional costs under $100 per sale. It is quite easy to spend more than that if you don't know what you are doing. If this happens the bloom comes of of the rose and its trouble for the Sponsor. It also is important to get each new person in profit as fast as possible. This doesn't mean 3 years of downline building either. A couple of months tops is all that it takes and then we have duplicated.

I teach my team members how to locate other real business people online and off-line. This does not cost an arm and a leg and the people we speak with are capable of analyzing a business opportunity for what it is from a businessman's perspective. To do less is silly. Any real business person will take the time to listen to a new way to make money. I provide the names of these business people to my team members free of charge.

We only need contact a few people each month to make a nice living from home. This is great for the part-time worker but many people do it full time as well.
These are the facts as I see them.

Sincerely,
George Ballard
Your Friendly EPI Flea

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so.  We are not responsible or liable for any claim arising from the content of any such discussions or postings or for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information contained within such locations on the Site.
You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane materials or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.  You are likewise prohibited from posting any false claims against any company or individual.  We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.
By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example. You grant Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications complete, perpetual, but non-exclusive rights to use, archive, reproduce, adapt, modify, distribute, sub-license, repurpose, rework, compile, or offer for sale or resale the messages, postings or content appearing on this site in whole or in part, throughout the world and universe, on a royalty-free basis without remuneration.  If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board.
In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
