Hi Maw,
I received an email from a collegue of mine that you are at it again with EPI. SO I jumped on to see what you were up to.
While I agree with your statements to look into a company, the statements you made are NOT red flags on the company but the individual Paul spoke with. Maybe they were new to the company, or maybe they run their business unethically... but that's not to assume everyone runs their business this way or that Emerald Passport is a bad company.
I can tell you from my experience, that there are many ways one can pay. As you know, the majority of people purchasing the product are also interested in the opportunity. They want to get started promoting ASAP... so if they are paying by money order or cashier check, they overnight it. Nothing suspicious about that!
As far as why they didn't say where they were incorporated... why not give them the benefit of the doubt that they just didn't know. Why automatically assume that they were trying to hide it. That leads me back to my posts about negativity and skepticism. Some people will just automatically put their guard up and take offense.
I think if Paul felt the person he spoke to was keeping secrets, he should have moved on to someone else, or as he did... his own investigations. Everyone should be encouraged to search out the company for themselves, and feel comfortable and confident with who they purchase from. (if they intend to work the business, of course!)
I hope I have made these issues clear. I personally cannot stand people that don't know the whole story (both distributors and on lookers).
I am sure there are others involved in EPI, in fact I know there are reading these boards. I encourage you to also speak up when you see negativity going on about your business. If you don't protect it, who will!
I stand behind what I do and am proud to be a director in Emerald Passport. It's a legit company where you can make a lot of money.
Anyhow, have a good weekend.
Kimberly

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
