Kelly, you couldn't be more wrong. I have been on this board and others for just over a month now. I have seen so many onlookers giving their opinions of businesses they know nothing about. It doesn't matter if the business is Legitimate or good, that is the type of negativity I was refering to..because that is the type of "conversation" that seems to sway those looking into a business.
If the negativity were coming from someone who was involved in a company then that's a different story. I haven't found that yet with EPI, other businesses yes. NOT epi.
The points you guys are making are ridiculous. Just because someone asks their teammate to send the funds with FedEx, they should raise a red flag about the opportunity! That's just foolish talk.
You're in the candle business, right? Don't you use express shipping this time of year? UT OH... GUYS better watch out -- that's a shady business. NOT... See my point!
By the way, nothing is stinky in Denmark ... that's people's fear to make money that you smell and people's fear to loose their money. Something I have witnessed in my years of network marketing is that people's mindset plays a very strong part in someone's success or failure. The saying "Those that believe, do achieve! Those that doubt, do without!" is absolutely true. It's also the reason there is so much controversy if an opportunity has any kind of "hype." The doubters tried this kind of opportunity, failed and now say its ILLEGAL, a PYRAMID or a plain out SCAM. But I can tell you, it's not hype if it can be backed up! I can back up the income potentials that are stated in my site.
Sorry about the comment I made on the other board. But if its not the truth, you wouldn't have been so bothered, would you? In either case, I see you all around the emerald subject consistently warning people, when you have no clue what its about. If you did, you wouldn't be adding a link on candles in that type of topic.
That comment was directed to you telling people $1295 is a LOT of money. That is the pessimistic viewpoint. I happen to see the glass as half full, not half empty. 1295 to start your VERY own business, where you will make $1000 commission on each purchase will put you into profit very quickly. Franchises can't even say that and people spend half a million or more.... and usually do not profit for YEARS.
And by the way, if you knew me ... you would know that I ALWAYS tell people to do their due diligence. I hide nothing. In fact, I tell people if they have any doubt at all about the opportunity, they should not join. Even if someone were not purchasing the product, and wanting to come in at the $99 level, I tell them not to waste their money if they have any doubt that they will be successful here. Again, its all about mindset. Don't make me out to be someone I am not. You have no clue who I am or where my ethics lay.
Lastly, there are tons of businesses incorporated in PANAMA. It's not likely that they will close shop tomorrow but if they did, we wouldn't be out of money. This is direct sales, not MLM. (though many of you think differently). With MLM's the company pays you ... but with direct sales, you pay the company. That's right, we receive the money first, and then send the portion for the product to the company. SO in all actuality, they are working for us, not the reverse.
You can read my post above entitled "Red Flags to look out for." Those are true red flags, not people's opinions.

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
