For starters, thanks very much for your helpful insight and interest Mel.

I have been able to count on your adice many times over the years.

Next,

When i say "pop-up," here is what i mean:

I'm **not** talking about hover ads... or fly in ads... or even pop-unders.... or the annoying pop-ups that first became popular with adult web sites starting around 1995.

Here is what i'm talking about.

If you go to Cory's sales letter, and click on at the bottom where it says...

... click here to order online..... you will notice that a totally new page opens.... while the original page stays up.

so now, there are actually "2" pages up.

And, in cory's case, if a person decides to close down the order page......

... they will still see his sales letter page.

And, they will potentialy start reading the sales letter again... and possibly place an order.

Many people tested this, including John reese, and said that this causes more sales. Simply because many people will change their mind.

It happens all the time.

So, no marketer should ever forget this. People can change their minds in the span of 5 seconds... or 5 years.

Nobody should just assume that a person and a sale is written off.

In the offline world.... the best sales people are said to keep asking for the order many times after a person has already said "no."

So, please take a quick look at Cory's site. Some advisors have told me these are still considered pop-ups..... even though they only pop-up when a person "clicks on them."

i do realize that Cory also uses hover ads... and the annoying pop-ups, but that is niot what my question pertains to.
