While I don't promote LLI anymore, I must say that Paul is mistaken.
I can tell you from my experience that you will have to place newspaper ads, unless you already know how to market (which in most cases people don't know how to) or are trained from your upline to do something different!
However, if you prospect about 4 hours a day, 5 days a week... which is part time effort - you can make money. From my own experience, I placed about $300 in newspaper ads in a month. I had a bunch of calls to make to see if the people were serious. I used my script, and invited the big thinkers onto the conference call. When I was done I would three way to my upline and they would answer any last questions. I didnt do any selling, telling or convincing.
I made 2 sales that month and one of my sales stepped up to the second level within his first 10 days of signing up. That was $7K in my pocket that month.
Yes I have since stepped away from that business because I like Paul, don't like to prospect each day. I rather have a system do the sorting and send me the people who are informed about my business, and ready to get started. I have doubled my monthly income since leaving LLI and work much less...but I will say that I don't regret signing up for LLI.
It is a great business, with a great atmosphere especially when you go to the training events and seminars. 8-) I have made many friends through them who are like minded, and that is hard to come by!
As for the product, it doesn't matter how much it costs. Bottom line is, if it helps you to look inside and make changes to the thought patterns you would like to eliminate - its worth it. Self development is just that -- private.
Someone could get many books on self development in a book store, and just as easily put them on the shelf for them to collect dust. Wouldn't that be wasting money?? We don't go after the authors and say -- hey your book wasn't worth it, all it did was collect dust, how could you sell it!
There's a double standard put on products as soon as their is an opportunity linked to it. The difference with this product and a book from the bookstore is the constant reminder to use it. LLI has an enviornment, a community of people who are all working on themselves. They are sharing their personal break through's and success stories on wake up calls. And the best part is when you attend these calls and start to hear the regulars, you know you will eventually meet these people at the events and almost become star struck when you see them.
Regardless, if the product has the ability to help you, whatever the price tag... if you do your JOB and work on yourself and change what your looking to change, its priceless.
I hope I have helped. The best advice I can give is to do your due dilligence, and find out what kind of training different groups within LLI offer. They each will have a different style.

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
