Even if you can't watch the video it's a good idea to maintain situational awareness all the time. If something looks out of place and you didn't see how it got there then get help figuring it out.
For example, if you see a box on the side of the street in front of your house and you didn't see it "fall off a passing truck" then leave it there until you can get someone to help you investigate it. It could be bait to get you away from your door either for someone to sneak in or to jump you while you are out there.
The same applies to things being out of place with your vehicle. If you see something on/around your car that you didn't see the "wind blowing it" into place then it could be bait.
Sorry if this makes anyone feel paranoid but we live in an unsafe world. These tips apply to EVERYONE, though statistically speaking women are more likely to be targeted.
