Posted By: MaaMaw In Response To: Insider's Secrets/Warp Speed Wealth (Stillookin)
Thursday, 5 October 2006, at 10:55 a.m.
It took me a while to actually open it up and read it, because I was a little disappointed with the packaging. (It's in a big box, the bottom half of which is a cardboard "riser.") That always makes me suspicious -- even when it's something from IMC, which has very rarely disappointed me. But when I finally got into it, I changed my tune.
Here's what's inside (not necessarily in any logical order):
== Step 1: A 50-page book + DVD called "How to Find a Hot Product to Sell on the Internet."
It covers all the basics, including deciding what you want to sell; finding a problem to solve; finding a niche market; using the internet to double your income from your offline business; creating an info product; dropshipping; finding wholesalers and suppliers; purchasing resale rights; and becoming a "superaffiliate."
== Step 2: A 39-page book + DVD called "How to Set Up Your Online Store for MAXIMUM Sales."
It includes the essential elements of creating a web site that sells; choosing your domain name and web host; building your site (this does NOT include instructions in HTML or web design); writing effective sales copy; writing "moneymaking long copy;" writing "effective short copy" for a catalog-style web site; and offering multiple payment options to make it easy for your customer to buy.
== Step 3: A 56-page book + DVD called "How to Drive Thousands of Qualified Buyers to Your Web Site."
This is the step that emphasizes email marketing, but it is by no means the entire course. This book includes how to go from zero visitors to thousands of potential buyers; how to build your business with opt-in email marketing; how to keep in touch with your customers using autoresponders; using pop-ups effectively; getting good search engine rankings; using pay-per-click search engines to draw targeted traffic; using links on high-traffic sites to attract attention; and increasing traffic and credibility by giving away free content.
-- Step 4: A 46-page book + DVD called "Advanced Selling and Traffic Secrets."
It includes "hot new technology" (this is "direct-to-desktop publishing, and I don't like it much myself, but then, they're rich and I'm not); how to get more profits from every customer; how to dominate your niche market; how to start an affiliate program; how to recruit affiliates and superaffiliates; and how to motivate and train your affiliates.
== A 12-Step Program, so to speak.
It's a big, colorful, motivating, in-your-face wall chart with 12 steps to check off as you do them. Each step refers you to the appropriate "lesson" in the program. I love this thing!
== A 32-page book on affiliate programs -- not on becoming an affiliate but on setting up your own affiliate program. The focus is on finding and recruiting "superaffiliates" and how to treat (i.e., motivate) them once you do. I haven't read this one, and I don't know how much different it is from the "affiliate" part of Step 4 (but since IMC is not big on "fluff," I think it's safe to assume it provides plenty of new information).
== A 21-page book on "selling more using online auctions." It's basic but more than enough to get started.
== A 16-page booklet on how to "Earn Staggering Fees Selling Your Service on the Internet."
== An 11-page booklet about the "#1 Fatal Mistake Made by Internet Marketers."
== Three bonus audio CD's.
People have told me they LOVE the step-by-step approach this takes. (Like I said, the "step by step" isn't in the books themselves, but on the wall chart, which translates nicely to the books -- creating small, manageable bites for people who might feel overwhelmed) (and frankly, I don't see how anybody can help but feel overwhelmed with all the information that's available these days).
I've also had a couple of people come back with, "WHY THE HELL COULDN'T THEY PUT ALL THIS IN ONE BOOK AND ONE DVD?"
My answer is, "MARKETING, Stupid!!" (well, I don't actually call them "stupid," but you get my drift). They're the same kind of "stupid" I was when I opened the box and found the bottom half was "packing," so I closed it up and put it away.
DUMB!
Yeah, it's annoying if you think about it -- but these people have made their fortunes by being GREAT MARKETERS, and as long as you get your money's worth...
(which you definitely **DO** with Warp Speed Wealth)...
...as opposed to half the box being filled with cardboard and the other half with silliness...
the smart thing is to stop criticizing and see what you can learn from it.
In summary, I would say besides presenting some new material, Warp Speed Wealth covers a lot of what is in the full course but not in as much depth...
which is what makes it so good for anyone who feels overloaded by the big course and is having trouble making progress.
For me -- there's a TON to be learned from both products (but as always, I don't have time in my life to sit down and put it all to use).
Okey-doodle, I hope that answers your questions, Stillookin'.
Email marketing is in there, to be sure, but it isn't the only -- or even the biggest -- focus of Warp Speed Wealth.
Luv,
MaaMaw

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. We are not responsible or liable for any claim arising from the content of any such discussions or postings or for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information contained within such locations on the Site. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane materials or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law. You are likewise prohibited from posting any false claims against any company or individual. We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials. By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example. You grant Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications complete, perpetual, but non-exclusive rights to use, archive, reproduce, adapt, modify, distribute, sub-license, repurpose, rework, compile, or offer for sale or resale the messages, postings or content appearing on this site in whole or in part, throughout the world and universe, on a royalty-free basis without remuneration. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
