You have to look at the cultural and emotional context of it... and from the viewpoint of both genders and a global culture.
While "free s-ex" is appealing to teenage boys in English speaking countries, to many women it has overtones of pr-ostitution and sleaze (i.e., someone wants THEM (the woman) to give out free s-ex), to some adult men who are struggling with family issues over p0rn0graphy it has an even more negative appeal, and to some cultural groups it has overtones of "ugly Americans forcing everything on us."
Free money has no such associations.
