I haven't answered your email yet because I am up to my eyeballs. I didn't mean to ignore you, and I will answer, I promise!!

OUTSTANDING!!
THE BEST!!
It starts with the most basic and progresses to the most advanced.

No.
Well, it teaches you tons of stuff about what to include, what not to include, how to structure your website for maximum profit, etc.
But as far as actually writing the site -- doing the HTML coding -- it doesn't go into that.
I compulsively do all my coding by hand, which is probably pretty stupid, but I can't make myself use a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) web page builder.
Also, I believe it is crucial that you have a basic understanding of HTML so you can go in and tweak, even if you use ready-made templates. (I have a friend who uses templates, and she is helpless making the smallest adjustment; it's very difficult for her.)
I learned everything I know from "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creating an HTML4 Web Page." It's a bright orange book (so idiots can't miss it). (I found the Dummies books much too complicated.)
The book is outdated now and you can probably only find it used (I don't believe it was ever updated, but I could be wrong)... but I still use it CONSTANTLY!!
Also, you can find tons of HTML tutorials on the net. That's what I do -- I refer to my Big Orange Book constantly and supplement with more current info on the web.
Hope that helps!!
Luv,
MaaMaw
P.S. Here is a link to a post where I listed the complete table of contents from the newest IMC course: Click here... As you can see, no stone is left unturned (and you are never left scratching your head saying, "Neat idea! Now what do I do?" like so many other "complete" courses).
P.S. Again: And they honor their guarantee, so the most you have to lose is $20 shipping. I've always said a person would have to be brain dead to get less than $20 worth of information from the course -- and you are definitely NOT brain dead :-)

Ummmm....
RAH RAH BIFF BOOM BAH!
I QUIT TRANSCRIBING AND SO CAN YAH!

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. You are likewise prohibited from posting any false claims against any company or individual. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
