Hi Jason, I do appreciate the advice you gave me on protecting copyrights. Thank you and thanks for pointing out that I could have gotten the eBay store info for free by spending more time on ebay looking for the answers. I like the IMC course because it saves me the trouble of searching for the answers on my own. Now I have everything in a printed manual sitting at my fingers tips so it saves me time and money plus there is nothing like learning from other people's experience. I've heard it said that there are 3 kinds people. Those who don't read books, those who read and learn from the mistakes and experience of others so they can avoid learning everything the hard way and then there are those who just have to pee on the electric fence themselves.

I see what you are saying about some of the pictures in the later editions of Midas. What you don't know is that my version is the original non pirated 20 programs plus bonuses. Not Don’s new 35+ version. Mine had mostly illustrations and drawings.

I KNOW NOTHING OF ANY 35+ VERSION, WHAT I DO KNOW IS THAT THE PROGRAMS OFFERED CHANGED FROM DAY TO DAY.
YOU MAY BENEFIT BY GIVING A TABLE OF CONTENTS OF THE VERSION THAT YOU OFFER AS THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY VERSIONS AND PEOPLE MAY GET UPSET WHEN YOUR VERSION DOES NOT CONTAIN WHAT THEY EXPECTED.

Now here's the thing about my version. When someone buys from me they don't just get the Midas report. You see, I implemented a few of the programs and my wife started her own "Welcome Service" but she tweaked it up and combined it with www.WelcomeBaskets.Biz and she also did her own version of the Memoboard program that she really improved on. So we have replaced several of Don's pictures with Photos of our own implemented versions and offer our customers ongoing support and advice.
I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THAT YOU "REPLACE" DONS PHOTOS BUT RATHER ADD YOUR PHOTOS INTO YOUR OWN PROGRAMS THAT YOU OFFER AS A BONUS. IF YOU REPLACE YOU ARE CHANGING HIS ORIGINAL CONTENT AND COULD BE DANGEROUS TO YOUR BOTTOMLINE. ON THE OTHER HAND IT DOESN'T TAKE A GENIOUS TO SEE THAT SEVERAL OF THE PHOTOS ARE NOT HIS TO BEGIN WITH.
BETTER SUGGESTION YET.....
WRITE YOUR OWN REPORT ON THE THINGS THAT YOU AND YOUR WIFE HAVE DONE AND OFFER THE MIDAS REORT AS A BONUS. YOU SHOWED THE AGREEMENT AND I DON'T RECALL IT SAYING THAT YOU COULDN'T GIVE IT AWAY.
I HAVE NO REASON TO DOUBT YOU STEVE, JUST AM A LITTLE LEARY WHEN YOU BUDDY UP TO A PERAON THAT I HAVE SPENT A LARGE CHUNK OF TIME TO FIND OUT IS UP TO NO GOOD.

DUMP THE MIDAS REPORT AND WRITE YOUR OWN "REAL" REPORT ON THE THINGS THAT YOU AND YOUR WIFE HAVE DONE.

We wouldn't sell Midas if we did not make money working any of the programs. But we know they work and work well because we've proven it to ourselves.

I KNOW THAT SOME OF HIS STUFF WILL WORK AS I HAVE DONE A FEW THINGS MYSELF THAT HE HAS TALKED ABOUT ON ANOTHER FORUM, IT JUST WOULDN'T WORK THE WAY HE WROTE IT. AS YOU HAVE SAID SEVERAL TIMES AS WEL, IT NEEDS TO BE TWEEEEEEEEEEEEEKED TO MAKE THEN VIABLE PROJECTS.

The thing about Midas is the most valuable part is the first section that teaches you the sales skills needed to succeed.
NOT ONCE HAVE I SEEN YOU OR HIM MARKET "THE FIRST SECTION" IF IT IS SO VALUABLE, THAT IS WHAT SOULD BE BEING MARKETED NOT THE 20 PROGRAMS

Not the programs themselves. But it can't make up for a lack of guts or desire and let's face it – Direct sales is not for most of us. I much prefer to create and sell people something that doesn't take any cold calling – like portraits of their kids and pets!
YET THIS TAKES ALOT MORE PATIENCE THAN I HAVE OR AM WILLING TO TOLLERATE EVEN FOR THE ALL MIGHT DOLLAR. GUESS WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN SKILL SETS AND THINGS WE WILL OR WILL NOT DO

My wife however loves to get out and show business owners the Midas advertising programs that we have used to promote ourselves.
HERE IS AN INTERESTING QUESTION STEVE.....
YOU STATE THAT YOU USE THE MIDAS TO PROMOTE YOURSELVES.
WITH THAT SAID, HAVE YOU FOUND ENOUGH ROOM TO GET THE DOLLARS NET THAT THE OWNER OFTHE MIDAS REPORT CLAIMS ARE AVAILABLE?

She is a real people person and has no trouble making cold calls and people feel good when they meet her.

I AM NOT REAL SHY EITHER AND HAVE NO PROBLEM WALKING IN AN LOOKING FOR THE OWNER OF A SAID BUSINESS TO BOUNCE MY IDEAS OFF OF.

I'm pretty shy and prefer simple programs that are quick and easy and require little or no selling. Like AddressAmerica.com and the Deck Cleaning service Don put into the Midas report. Now I was a bit disappointed that – that part of Midas didn't give you sources for Deck Sealers or told you how to go out and get business. But that didn't stop me. I went out and tracked down a great product at www.ccaplaygroundsolution.com and bought a $1200 power washer then bought a How To Video on the business from someone already in the Deck Renewing business and with the help of Lawrence who I got to know from Sowpub and our mutual interest in the Addressing business was able to come up with a very effective flyer for getting jobs. I had paid $20 for an ebook on Deck Cleaning that gave an example flyer that worked well but Lawrence redesigned it and really improved it for me. No copyrights were violated because the flyer is all new.

I DON'T NEED A SOURCE FOR A DECK SEALER, I HAVE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND AM HAPPY WITH WHOM I GET MY PRODUCT.

WHAT GOOD IS INFO ON HOW TO START A BIZ TO ANYONE THAT DOESN'T AT LEAST GIVE YOU A LICK OR 2 ON HOW TO GET BUSINESS. SECONDLY, HOW ARE YOU TO SERVICE A CLIENT IF YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO GET THE PRODUCTS.
ARE ALL OF HIS 20 REPORTS LIKE THIS?
IF I WERE A FIRST TIME BUSINESS PROSPECTIVE BUSINESS OWNER, I FEEL THAT THIS INFO WOULD BE VERY IMPORTANT TO MY SUCCESS.
oNE THING THAT I REMEMBER FROM DONS DECK BIZ SITE THAT HE PROMOTED IN THE MIDAS REPORT IS THAT HE SAYS YOU DON'T NEED ANY POWER EQUIPMENT.

I HAVE BEEN IN THE BIZ FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND MADE MY MONEY JUST AS YOU STATE THAT YOU HAVE, WOULD THE NUMBERS HE CLAIMS BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT POWER EQUIPMENT?

I HOPE THAT YOUR ANSWER IS NO!

THIS IS WHY I FEEL THAT THE MIDAS REPORT IS FLAWED AND MISLEADING TO THE FOLKS THAT PURCHASE IT FROM YOU OR THE OTHER GUY.
IT IS JUST NOT GOOD BUSINESS TO SELL SOMETHING THAT IS FULL OF QUARTER TRUTHS.
YOU HAVE STATED A FEW TIMES THAT YOU SELL SEVERAL MIDAS REPORTS A MONTH WHICH TELLS ME THAT YOU HAVE RECOVERED YOUR INITIAL INVESTMENT A FEW TIMES OVER.
I FEEL THAT IT WOULD BE IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO NOT SELL THIS REPORT AT ALL, AND IF YOU FEEL THATTHE FIRST PART (WHAT EVER THAT IS) SHOULD BE MARKETED AS A BONUS TO SELL ALL OF YOU AND SUSHAS "REAL" LIFE VENTURES

Now because of all the money I was making cleaning decks I gave a testimonial to the company I bought the Deck eBook from. But they are misusing my testimonial. It seems they publish several other ebooks on other businesses and they are using my testimonial to promote them all. I’ve asked them to stop numerous times but they still continue to misuse my words.

Our version of Midas comes with a lot more info along with my wife and my ongoing help and support. We added our personal experience to Midas and have replaced Dons pictures with photos of our own from the Midas programs that we’ve have personally tested, proven and worked.
DON'T ADD TOO OR REPLCE PHOTOS, AGAIN I FEEL IT WOULD BE BEST TO SEPERATE FROM THE MIDAS REPORT

Like before and after pictures of Decks I have renewed. Like photos of Susha's new and improved classy designed memoboards. Like photos of Susha's Welcome Baskets program (we sell the Gift Basket video Susha created separately from Midas) Like photos of the Midas Reports Ad program on DVD/Video Cases. I sold some ad space on video cases and I also used that Midas idea to promote our photography services so I replaced all of the photos of ads on DVD/Video cases in Midas with our own.

THIS IS NOT A SLAM STEVE BUT IN TODAYS COMPUTER AGE IS THAT THE BEST IMAGE FOR THE VIDEO CASE THAT COULD HAVE BEEN PRODUCED?

Don't think for a moment that my wife and I are the same as Don. I do donate money and time to "Guide Dogs for the Blind" and will put you in touch with their fundraising department if you question our integrity or honesty. I picked Guide dogs for the blind as a way to help blind people get something out of our photography. I’m helping them to organize "Santa Paws" Pet Portraits as a holiday fundraiser and I’m donating my time and 100% of the money from Santa Paws to help train more guide dogs for the blind.

THAT IS GREAT AND NO I DON'T WANT OR NEED TO BE IN TOUCH WITH THEM : )

I don't normally do this but I'm posting one of my own images from my version of Midas at the bottom of this post. Now imagine if it was on 1200 video rental cases and was used to help promote Santa Paws Photos. Do you think that part of the Midas report can help a non profit group out?

LAST I CHECKED, DON WASN'T EVEN SELLING HIS. MAYBE YOU SHOULD FIND OUT WHY. IT COULD BE THAT HE RAN INTO SOME LEGAL PROBLEMS BY LICENSING THINGS THAT DO NOT BELONG TO HIM.
