I buy pharmaceuticals online

In Response To: online pharmacies (Susan Schaffer)

And I have saved THOUSANDS doing it ib the past 1.5 years or so. In fact, if I didn't buy drugs from overseas pharmacies I would not be able to buy even a fraction of the drugs I need to take to stay "healthy".

You have to understand that while the points that the news and the pharmacists often mention against buying overseas are totally legit, they are also shady at best seeing how both are owned by those with the money (can you say Pfizer?). But you have to find the right pharmacies. There are probably more crooks out there than there are legit pharmacies. You have to take your pick and find the right ones - then stick with them.

Although it is supposedly against the law to buy pharms online, the FDA as stated fairly recently that the government does not plan on punishing those who are importing pharms for personal use. However, US customs/dept of homeland security do from time to time block your package and send it back to the pharmacy, it's not really anything to worry about as far as the law goes. They send the drugs back and then send you a letter telling you that next time they will not be sending you a letter and they will not send the drugs back (big friggin' deal! Huh?). I had this happen to me. However, it has only happened when I buy Pfizer drugs or generics that compete against Pfizer (go figure!).

Sure, you have to be very careful who you buy from. But don't base your decision on a news story or a pharmacist. These people are paid off quarterly to say what the drug companies want them to say. Besides, news corporations are simply that, corporations, big business. I take everything they say with a bag of salt. They are not in business to give you news necessarily. Their main objective is to report the news that those with deep pockets tell them they need to report because, well, they give them an "incentive" to do so. Everyone and everything is for sale, including the news corporation, including all of your politicians.

Good luck, and I do hope that you do what's best for you, not what's best for ABC News, your pharmacist, your doctor, or anyone else who has no real vested interest in your well-being as you yourself do. Although they may seem to, nobody is really looking out for you - nobody. It's a tough hell we live in. You gotta do what you gotta do and you gotta look out for #1 because if you don't do it, that means that no one is.

^_^

Sorry, I won't be revealing my source. Not sure MaaMaw would like that.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example.         In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
