Thanks for the response Mel, but it seems like you are comparing apples to oranges. Being a freelance copywriter is very different from trying to earn a living as a typical writer. I agree with everything you said...as it pertains to regular freelance writing. But I've done enough research and talked to enough freelance copywriters to know they are very different professions and money is earned very differently as well.
