Get a digital camera and take photos of your customer at his or her business and design up the card for the specific look they want. Why force them into using a stock design. And why should you pay $25,000 up front just to get started? For crying out loud. . . go write up some orders for cards first. Collect a deposit then go locate several high quality printers/vendors that offer very low prices and make some money. I'm sorry but investing $25,000 to get started is insane. With gotprint you can test the waters by buying 1,000 photo cards for $39.95 or 5,000 for $99 and reselling them for whatever you want. That way you can try the business without investing $25,000 just to get started. There are no dealer fees. If you want to get your cards for less gotprint has a brokerage program at

BCE reminds me of MLM. There was an MLM company that practiced "Front End Loading" They would load you up with $25,000 worth of water filters at wholesale prices knowing well most people would not be able to sell more than a few. So they made their money up front. Why should you have to pay a fee for the right to sell someone's product (unless they are granting you exclusive rights) Why must you send BCE $10,000 - $25,000 to sell their products? Won't they sell you just 1000 cards at a time? If not - Why not?
When it comes to business you need to buy low and sell high. But you need to sell first. If you can't go out tomorrow and collect a deposit from 10 customers it does not matter what price you can get them for.
Get in touch with Dennis Bevers. And if you want to talk with someone who was with BCE email me your phone number and I'll put you in touch with him. But if you really want to part with $25,000 I know of a lot of buying opportunities will take you for a ride. What you need is a selling opportunity.
Make some sales... collect a deposit and only then should you order the materials to do the job.
Hello
Maybe instead of selling my "Antique & Pet Photography Business Guides" on eBay I should charge prospects $25,000 to let them follow me around for two weeks and watch me work. In fact I could show them once how to do something and then put them to work for me. Then after two weeks send them home with the same operations manual and CD's they could have gotten on ebay for just $97
My wife started a very unique gift basket business that was voted as one of the top 15 new businesses in Australia in 2003 by a goverment agency. We shot a video CD/DVD of her spilling her secrets and showing exactly how anyone can build these unique baskets. She has been selling the video on ebay for $67
Well just today she told one of her vendors in the gift basket industry about it and they told her to stop at once. Instead they want to send her prospects and have her sell her video and personal guidance for $3500.00 and of course they want a percentage for each prospect they give us that she sells.
Maybe we should do it. Seems to work for BCE and I know we can delivery the goods. It's just that we make good money doing what we enjoy while working from home and don't need to take people for a ride by selling them a dream. Paying your $25,000 is one thing. Doing the work is something else. Make sure its something you'll enjoy doing before you invest your thousands.
Cheers,
Steve Shulenski

PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace. NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!" Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures. Although we may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, postings and the like on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, we are under no obligation to do so. If you cannot accept or agree with the terms of service for this website and discussion board, you are advised not to post on this board. In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact. And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!). |
