Here's the ad for typesetterS (what blows me away is that they're trying to pull a GROUP from all over the country, to converge on their site and work under close supervision) (what exactly do they need to supervise?) (why didn't they hire ONE person to do the job early in the game so they didn't develop an "urgent need" for a whole pile of people?) (they told me on the phone they needed TWENTY proofreaders).

And here's one set of Google search results. (Yesterday I found at least three sites in German; today only one, so I must have used a different search string.) It's interesting that two of the sites are gone. The one in English locks up my computer so I can't even go past the first page.

Before I found out it had something to do with Scientology, my first thought was, "Ohmigod, it's AMWAY!" I wouldn't have been surprised to see an ad next month saying, "Twenty dentists urgently needed to fill teeth at our site under close supervision!!"
In something I found yesterday, it looked like they might be a legitimate production company of some kind -- but I'm sorry, if they are, they oughtta know better than to try to assemble an army of typesetters and proofreaders from all corners of the globe. It's just the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
