In Response To: My apologies ... I missed it. (J.F. (Jim) Straw)

It isn't that I don't believe a lot of people can make a lot of money with this.

It's that I don't like it.

If you order Option A before "midnight tonight," you can save "$409.99" --

If you don't -- if you order Option B (or, it seems, if you wait til after midnight "tonight"), you pay full price for all the "fees," and you don't get the Toolbox:Here's what bothers me (and I'm not saying it's dirty or illegal or anything else -- just that I don't like it):This could easily be the best product since God enlisted the Cadbury Bunny to lay all those glorious Easter eggs just for me, but it's the kind of thing that makes me very uncomfortable.

A lot of people without any money (me, f'rinstance) would choose to sign up for Option B because they can't afford Option A, and a lot of those people aren't going to have a *clue* how to promote their beautiful self-replicating websites -- but they'll be "in" for $49.97 a month and Rod will be making his bundle regardless.  (I really have a problem with that monthly fee.)

Of course it's all guaranteed, but "Refund request must be received within 30 days of enrollment date and requested within the Associates Back-Office Support Ticket System."  That's going to eliminate a lot of refunds, because people will keep trying right up to the last minute, then they'll request a refund -- but they won't remember that it had to be done through the "Associates Back-Office Support Ticket System" and they'll be SOL.

Even if they do remember how to get their refund, Rod keeps the Set Up Fee, which makes sense, I guess (NOT), because of the huge expense (NOT) involved in setting up a self-replicating website and entering the required data into the system.

I don't doubt the income claims of the people who gave testimonials -- not for one minute -- but it's going to get harder and harder to make a dime as the net becomes more and more saturated with these self-replicating websites.  Will he tell people that up front a year from now?  (Yeah, right.)

A lot of people will make a bundle of money with this -- no question about it -- but a lot more people are going to pay and pay and PAY, month after month after month, certain their ship will come in when they don't have a *clue* how to start the engine.

Even though I don't have a mailing list yet, I feel certain I could pull myself out of the hole with this program just by promoting the hell out of it here on FIB -- but I can't do it.

I'll probably smack myself in the morning.

I'm permanently scarred from all the mornings I've spent smacking myself.

Luv,

MaaMaw

P.S.  No offense intended.  It pains me greatly to write this.

NOTICE TO SCUMBEEZLES
(you know who you are... you scream "Foul!" when the truth comes out)
PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT.  It has been done before, but never successfully.  In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH:  I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday.  I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish.  I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?).  I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane materials or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.  You are likewise prohibited from posting any false claims against any company or individual.  We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.
By posting messages and/or content on the Friends In Business (Scams 101) Message Board, you give permission for Lesley Fountain/Friends In Business/Shoestring Success Publications to display, distribute and use the posting and content for publication, advertising, promotion, excerption or example.         In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
