Thought you might be interested in this new company (and NO I am NOT affiliated with them!) :) They are kind of a new company, works sort of like Google AdSense but these are banners with products instead of web sites. When someone clicks on a product and buys something, you split the profit 50/50 with this company; whatever there % take is.
Now if you were only using one merchant for all your items you might come out ahead to just stick with that, but they have tons of items (and lots of merchants) and all with one shopping cart. They will also work with you if you have specific products you want to display because like I mentioned they are still new and improving all the time and it's nice to be treated like a 'real customer'. Oh, and you can also buy stuff yourself without any problems and get your share. I did mention something about them trying to fix it so that the clicks opened in a new window and she said they were working on maybe setting it up so people would have a choice.
I can give you the link to the site for anyone to check them out and also the email of the lady I have been working with. They are making up some special banners for our fishing site.
It's free of course, so no obligation if you don't like it, but might be worth looking into. They are also working on a cpc thingy kind of like adsense but still products.
I told the lady I have been speaking with that I would mention it around (as it seems like a good concept) so if anyone gets in touch with her, (she said to feel free to email her for questions) I would appreciate it if you would tell her Jeanine from Empty Nest Moms sent you. (again, I am not an affiliate)
I've just gotten a LOT out of this board the nearly 6 years now that I have been coming here (long time professional 'lurker') :-) so if it should be something that works for someone, great! Thought some might like the idea, some may not.......
