In Response To: Re: Gold Calling` (Tabitha Naylor)
I've seen you on the howtocorp forum, too. Sam does like to pick on you, doesn't he? :-)
I don't have trouble "loading" leads at all. When I use leads that I purchase, the software works fine in that respect. My issues (and I have been in contact with the help desk repeatedly about this, though I never receive a response in under a week - literally!) stem from not being able to "pull" a list from my CONTACTS.
Here is an example: One of my sideline interests is fine dining. I have built a site listing restaurants and providing the opportunity to post a review for people who reside in the Treasure Valley (Boise, Idaho, where I currently live.) I spent a fair amount of time collecting names, phone numbers and other information about restaurant owners and managers which I then entered into the "Contacts" folder. This was with the intent of marketing to them specifically via various methods, including a voice broadcast. I suppose that I could have created a csv file as I gathered the information, but the contact option is right there in the software, and I wished to be able to pull the information for multiple uses, including accessing individual file data.
However, I am unable to create a list for broadcasting from the contacts folder at all. The helpdesk is aware of this, and as of last contact told me it was still not enabled even though the first time I brought it up with them they said it would be a matter of "days" - which, as I mentioned in my previous post, was months ago.
And that doesn't address my latest problem with GC, which includes corrupted leads from their pre-loaded files. I spent 2 weeks outlining the situation with the helpdesk before they finally conceded that I was correct and the leads were, in fact, garbled. To be fair, they have provided me with information to fix the problem, but I had to deal with some rather brusque responses prior to be given the information.
So, that is (partially) my experience...
Btw, Tabitha, I have seen your personal mentoring site. It was interesting, but it appears that your offer is a specific biz opp and not something that may be applied to an existing business? PM me if you care to respond.

| PLEASE READ THIS LEGAL NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT OR EVEN WASTE TIME THINKING ABOUT IT. It has been done before, but never successfully. In fact, the last dodobird who tried it ended up being ordered to pay more than $77,000 in attorney fees ($65,000+ to my attorneys and $12,000+ to my co-defendant's legal advisor).
If your attorney is worth his salt, he's going to tell you that the expense of filing a lawsuit you can't win is a whole lot worse than any "damages" resulting from messages posted on this insignificant little chunk of cyberspace.
NEWS FLASH: I didn't just climb down off that ol' turnip truck yesterday. I'm well aware that expressing a negative opinion, relating one's personal experience, and restating provable facts are all legal in this country and do not constitute libel, slander, or defamation -- so you don't want to play games with me, and you sure don't want to start something you aren't prepared to finish. I don't take threats lightly, and I don't accept bribes (or did you call it a "mutually-beneficial arrangement"?). I'll turn you in faster than you can yell, "ARREST ME, I'M SCUM!!"
Do yourself a favor and turn your legal team loose in greener pastures.

In closing, I would like to remind you once again that it is still legal, in this great country of ours, to express a PERSONAL OPINION, as long as it is presented as opinion and not as fact.
And finally, all you scammers out there will do well to remember that TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against charges of libel, defamation, and slander... so if you're operating just a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the law, you might want to think twice before doing anything stupid... (AND SHAME ON YOU!!).
