on the web, I have had this site up but never did much other that post my pictures for family and friends. Now after linking to others and signing at glass artist.org I start showing up. Yes most people will not search for me BUT I am linking to other artists site that have a high ranking. So when someone types stained glass and see the first few sites and they go look at them, they MAY look at the links and see me there. Artist are different then most business people are about sharing info, links, etc. before I choose to link, I look at all aspects of the site, see if it has a message board, how many posts, look at their work and check the links to see what they are like, etc. Yes, it takes time but I have had the time, now I will wait to see what happens until I finish my house.
I also work in a popular antique store one day a week to help my friend, I tell people about my work and say just look me up on google, Carla Ball is easier than the name of the website. Thanks for the links, I will look into them. BUt for now I am building a studio instead of a new website. Good luck in your ventures. Carla
