Long Term Project Focus

I pretty just figured that out recently. Although I've wanted to "start a business" for years, it wasn't until a few days ago that I figured out that that was my problem.

I read a book titled "Web Project Management" and I became clear from it's objective, experienced viewpoint that I needed to think long-term and had to have certain things to accomplish the goal of selling online, whether I liked doing them or not and whether I had the resources or not.

I really should have know this because I've bought many business books including business plans, but never understood the underlying philosophy or had it clearly explained to me like in that "Web Project Management" book.

So, basically now I've been doing what could be called a "feasibility study" and overview of what is required instead of doing what you said, getting really excited, working hard for a period of weeks, and then giving up.

I've heard someone say that internet business is like running a marathon. You pace yourself and keep going. Now I understand what they were talking about.
